 · The A12 OS series, however, is unlike any other Adams irons we’ve ever had in for review. For starters, the Adams A12 OS is a hybrid-iron set. While it won’t be the last, this is the first time we’ve had to try and account for a hybrid replacement for long irons (and even middle irons). It also happens to be the first super game. The Adams A7OS starts out the same as it’s big brother, replacing the 3 and 4 irons with hybrids to ease the pain in dealing with those long irons. But the OS version took it one step further, replacing the 5, 6, and 7 irons as well. Adams pushes the envelope even further by adding an extra 44 grams in the heel and toe for superior stability.  · Since the a2 OS set was introduced last fall it has received rave reviews from testers and customers alike. This is possibly the most forgiving set of irons available. All of the clubs have a wide sole and low center of gravity and they do hit the ball high.

In my estimation Adams has always taken a slightly understated approach to game improvement, and certainly super game-improvement designs. The Adams a12 OS is no exception. From graphics, to contours, everything about the irons are exceptionally clean. These Adams are great and very forgiving and long! The 1st round I played with them I noticed about a 1/2 to full club difference in added distance and a very solid, confidence building feel In my opinion, they are everything they are billed to be and they make me want to checkout their woods as well Happy in Texas!. I also agree with this review..I have played the A2OS for 2 years (live in FL and play weekly).I love the 3 4 hybrids so much that i purchased the 2 hybrid as well. the 7 thru SW are terrific and accurate. However, I have never hit the 5 6 hybrids oconsistently (they have a closed hollow body with a wide sole).
